Information from 10/01/2022 at 10:00 p.m.

Your flight is canceled and you want to go to another island to reach your final destination?

This is possible free of charge and subject to flight availability.

For example, you have to go to Huahine while your flight is cancelled.

You can fly to Raiatea free of charge and subject to flight availability.

From Raiatea, you can reach Huahine by a means of transport that you have chosen.

Any costs associated with this means of transport will remain your responsibility, as this is an external strike at Air Tahiti.

However, our ground handling agents remain mobilized and at your service to provide you with all the help and assistance necessary for your journey to your destination island.

Stay connected to our page to be informed of the evolution of the situation.

Faaitoito and mauruuru for your understanding.

Information regarding flights on Saturday 1 October.

We have been informed that the minimum service expected to be provided by firefighters today has not been provided at some airports.

In accordance with the regulations, the presence of firefighters is mandatory in order to operate a flight.

As a result, flights to the Marquesas, Huahine, Tikehau and Moorea had to be canceled in the absence of firefighters.

We invite you to check the flight status in real time on our website https://www.airtahiti.com/en/arrivals-departures or contact your agency directly.

We will continue to keep you informed on this page.

We again regret this situation beyond our control.

All our teams are mobilized to serve you as well as possible.

Faaitoito to all and mauruuru roa for your understanding.

Passenger information

To keep your reservation file for which a flight has been cancelled, our teams must transfer it to "fictitious" flights (i.e. which do not exist).

This manipulation automatically generates the sending of an SMS and/or email indicating this fictitious flight.

So, if you receive an SMS or email containing:

  • a flight number between 1001 and 1019
  • a flight time of 10 minutes

Please disregard this, as this is a fictitious flight to keep your booking file, so that we can rebook you on our flights as soon as the firefighters' strike is lifted.

We again regret this situation beyond our control.

All our teams are mobilized and work tirelessly to be able to serve you as well as possible.

We will continue to keep you informed of developments on this page.

Fa'aitoito to all and māuruuru for your understanding.
